Every member of Pogo’s management team has a college degree with 2 members holding Master’s degree’s. Most importantly, the management team has extensive experience in the Permian Basin of West Texas and Southeastern New Mexico, the second largest oil producing Basin in the world.
President, CEO, Chairman of the Board
Rob, age 51, founder of the Company, serves as President, CEO and Chairman of the Board. Graduated with a B.B.A. in Management from Texas Tech University and is a U.S. Army Veteran. Rob began his career in Dallas, Texas working as a real estate appraiser and loan officer. In 1998 Rob accepted a position with Laser Exploration, Inc. in Midland, Texas and directed marketing and investor relations raising capital through stock sales to drill oil and gas wells. Rob became President of Leigo Oilfield Services in 2007, Leigo provided services to major independent oil companies in the Permian Basin.
CFO – Chief Financial Officer
Kim, age 39, serves as Chief Financial Officer, received her BBA in Accounting from Angelo State University and a Masters degree in Professional Accounting from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin. Kim began her career with Xeric Oil and Gas, she served as the Accounting Manager handling joint interest billing, revenue distribution and state filings. Kim accepted a position in 2004 as Assistant Controller with Key Energy Services a major oilfield service company located in Midland, Texas. Kim prepared financial statements, performed audits and prepared quarterly and annual budgets. Kim’s accounting and financial experience will be an asset to the Company.
Paul, age 71, is a Shareholder and developed the Company prospects. Paul received his Masters Degree in Geology from BYU. Paul started his career with Hunt Energy in the Permian Basin of West Texas. In 1981 Paul went to work for Anadarko Petroleum and was promoted to Senior Staff Exploration Geologist responsible for generating wildcat and development prospects. In addition, Paul oversaw Anadarko Petroleum’s geochemical survey program. Paul is responsible for 5 field discoveries and a number of wildcat wells assigned to existing fields in the Permian Basin of West Texas and Southeastern New Mexico.
Drilling Superintendent, Executive Vice President of Operations
Jeff, age 50, serves as Vice President of Operations, received his Masters Degree in Education from Texas Tech and completed a Petroleum Engineering Graduate Program at Texas A&M. Jeff was the featured speaker before the United States Congress in 2014 on his paper entitled “Optimizing Drilling Techniques and Equipment Reliability to Execute Long Reach Laterals”. Jeff was a consulting supervisor for drilling operations on a 15 rig program in the Permian Basin for Pioneer Natural Resources in Midland, Texas. Jeff also worked as a well site drilling foreman for Chesapeake Operating in the Permian Basin of West Texas. Jeff has extensive experience in drilling oil and gas wells in the Area of Interest in which Pogo will be active.
Norwood Land Services, LLC
Norwood Land Services based in Ft Worth, Texas provides oil and gas leasing programs in the Permian Basin of West Texas and Southeastern New Mexico. Norwood performs an initial leasehold check in the identified area, then provides a thorough and accurate map of available acreage and competition in the area. Norwood will identify all mineral owners in the area of interest and negotiate on behalf its client for the best possible lease terms. In addition, Norwood will assist its clients with seismic and regulatory permitting and provides a full boutique of land services, see www.norwoodland.com.
